The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
